A student's 10 lesson term starts when they start and we have a robust make up lesson system and flexibility to change lesson times that other schools can't offer.

We break at the same time as government schools or public holidays and credits are paused until we resume after the holiday so if you start half way through a school term you would do 5 lessons, then the holiday, then the final 5 when we resume.

Fees are by card and are payable for all lessons that fall on a scheduled NSW government school date while you are a current student. This can be found on several websites including: http://educationstandards.nsw.edu.au/wps/portal/nesa/about/key-dates/school-terms-and-public-holidays

Missed classes are non refundable but students can access our auto-make up system via a link that generates the next 7 days vacancies to attend another class providing there is a suitable one available, but we normally make up 100% of missed lessons. Groups run 6 days a week so there are plenty of options to suit your schedule. You must be enrolled and financially up to date to make up missed lessons.

When are fees due ?

Fees must always be 2 credits ahead to maintain your place so the next set of 10 are due on the day lesson 8 of 10 falls. You get weekly notices after each class of what lesson you are on, and a clear reminder on lesson 7 of 10 so will always know when fees are due.

A note on the term structure vs the curriculum.

It is important that you let me know if you are only staying for one term. Students who continue will become fluent musicians whether it is for social, cognitive or even academic or career aspirations, so students are considered to be having ongoing lessons until and if they stop. The 10 lesson terms are simply for fee convenience but the curriculum is mostly project based and most projects, like a song that develops, may take 3, 6 or even 12 months to master, so let me know if you are specifically only staying for one term so I can encapsulate the work for the student and limit it to short projects.
